This work was produced by masking with twisted cotton tapes which then became a separate but concurrent work called This Side of The Other. I took it to The Other Art Fair but it didn’t fit with the rest of the works, so I set it aside, leaning against the wall opposite the booth. As a nod that, and to the question of which of the two works were the artwork, I renamed it This is not art, which makes it a kind of readymade.
