In this work the ambient light is both the subject and the means.

Prophetes came off a work I showed at The Other Art Fair, called This Side of The Other.
Initially I intended it as a reflective colour piece. The strips were to be air-brushed and removed to a fresh stretcher, with the painted side facing the canvas. I was so taken with the shadow-play that I decided to keep it as it was. It then became the basis of a new series.
