This is part of the second iteration of the work A Solution for Damien. The original was hung together with its backing canvas in the group show Playing Beyond the Skin. That canvas, carrying the masked traces of the airbrushed pock-marks, is now a separate work, called Red Rain.

The work is activated by breezes and people and, apart from keeping the flies out, it is useful for entertaining kittens, of which there are a number in its final home.
