This work is based on a diagram of a sculptural work, Ex Ex. The reflective tape represents – ‘mirrors’ – the dowels in the earlier work.
I called it Uncovery because I drew the work directly with the foil tape, then masked it off before painting. Removing the masking tape uncovered the tape I could have used to cover the joins between the paint sections.
Hmm…
