This was the second of my scrolling picture plane works, which was a bit more refined than the first, and used a warmer palette. For my stall at The Other Art Fair, I developed a way of hanging it off a simple extendable bracket. When I got to the space, however, I discovered there were fans installed right nearby, which activated the work in such a way that the effect of the scrolling was lost. To be honest, in the hectic environment of an art fair, anything that requires a bit of steady consideration will tend to get crowded out. But circumstances alter cases, as Dad used to say, and I got a lot from just rolling with it.
