Digital print on Hahnemuhle Torchon 285gsm, 59 x 42 cm, 2015

This work was originally produced in Illustrator and Photoshop as a way of mocking up for a very large tape work that I’m still working on resolving. In the meantime it functions as a kind of ‘pre-documentation’.
When I was invited by Raygun Labs in Toowoomba to contribute to a show featuring prep works that stand as art in their own right, this was the perfect choice. I did need to have it printed, which kind of wasn’t the idea, but I checked it out when the show came to MAP Projects in the Blue Mountains, and I was very pleased with the ‘tangent’ it had taken.
