Hi, I'm Chris

I’m an artist from Sydney, Australia.

My work focusses on the materials and processes of art itself, often exploring aspects of painting like the picture plane and the grid – and sometimes even paint! I'm also interested in expectations around art and how it is experienced, so in some ways this website and the images in it are all part of it.

My studio is a shed in the backyard at home, in Lewisham in the Inner West, and I have a selection of work on display in the house that you are invited to view IRL. If you would like to arrange a visit, please use one of the contact options here to make a time.
